May you know you are not the first to stand here —
unable to stay, unable yet to see the road.
The father of faith stood right where you are standing.
May you let your questions count as faith this week.
May you try, even once, saying the true thing out loud to God,
and find that God is not afraid of it.
May God show you the next step —
only the next one —
and may that be enough for now.
For the ones you love who don’t understand,
may you find tenderness instead of contempt,
and may God hold them in the places you can’t reach.
May you rest in the doorway as long as you need.
May you find the home you carry in your own chest.
And may you feel, even faintly,
that you are not walking this road alone.
You are loved, exactly as you are.
Rest now. The work will keep till Monday.
