I gotta say it
Thank you!
First off, I want to say thank you. Thank you for following, subscribing, and joining. Thank you for the likes, the comments, and the restacks. Thank you for the new friendships, the wisdom you share, the fun, and of course, the notes about goats.
My goal here is simple: to shine a light for those who have floundered in their faith or been hurt by the church. I want to help with healing, finding truth, and most of all, pointing us all to a Jesus that actually likes us (and loves us, too).
This is a safe space for you—to ask the hard questions, to look deeper at your faith, and to try to understand why the Bible says what it does.
To keep this space sustainable and to dive even deeper together, I offer two ways to be a part of this community:
As a Free Subscriber, you’ll receive:
Every Tuesday: An article related to deconstruction, faith, or healing, along with book suggestions, practical tools, and a reflection question.
Every Saturday: A blessing for your weekend—a breath prayer, a chance to let your shoulders drop and your jaw unclench, and a piece of hope to share with friends.
When you are ready to go a little deeper, the Paid Tier offers:
Instant Welcome Gifts: The moment you upgrade, you’ll get immediate access to two of my foundational resources: Cultivate the Word Bible Study Guide and the 30 Day Field Guide for Tending Your Soul.
Every Friday: A personal liturgy and a curated set of journal questions designed to help sharpen and process your faith.
Every Month: A convenient, downloadable PDF containing all the month’s materials and exclusive bonus content to print or read on your iPad.
Full Archive Access: Instant access to every past issue and resource whenever you need it.
If this community has been a balm for you, I hope you’ll consider upgrading to a paid subscription today. Your support makes this work possible.
A little about me...
Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m a pastor and writer, but most days you can find me navigating the beautiful chaos of being a single mom to my six incredible kids (five of whom still keep me on my toes at home!). When I’m not writing or parenting, I’m usually out cycling to clear my head, or spending time with my goats (which explains all the goat notes in the comments!).
I know how messy faith and life can get, and I’m so incredibly honored to walk this path toward healing alongside you. Thanks for being here.
