Quick recap: On Tuesday we sat with Jesus’ first sermon (Luke 4) — how he announced a gospel of real-world liberation, edited out the line about God’s vengeance, and nearly got thrown off a cliff the moment he said the good news included outsiders. Today we bring all of that down out of our heads and into the body, where the real healing happens.

Here’s something worth naming before we begin. A gospel that told you your suffering didn’t matter — that taught you to stay small, wait quietly, and not need too much — doesn’t just live in your beliefs. It lives in your body. In the held breath. In the shoulders that never quite come down. In the flinch that comes before you take up space. So we’re not going to think our way free today. We’re going to start letting the body catch up to the good news.
