I grew up in a strict Calvinist community: parochial schools etc. in fifth grade we were all given a New Testament (yay Gideons) re letter edition. Matthew 5-7, all in red. It has set my priorities for my whole life: grace for all, justice for all. Love for all.
Grace… justice… love…. Thank you for sharing this! I had a Red Letter Bible, too, and I think it really helped set apart the words of Jesus from everything else, so we could focus on what Jesus focused on. .
