A Blessing for the Sacred Exit
May you release the heavy, suffocating weight of religious guilt.
May you unlearn the lie that staying in destruction is holy,
or that God demands the sacrifice of your peace, safety, and soul
to preserve an institutional contract.
May you know in your very bones
that when hard-heartedness, abuse, or indifference broke the covenant,
walking through the exit was not your failure—
it was your sacred act of survival and self-care.
Where old systems used judgment to trap you,
may Grace grant you the courage to honor your dignity,
the comfort of an unburdened heart,
and the deep peace of stepping into a life of freedom.
May you find safety and relief and wisdom for the life of your dreams.
Drop your shoulders, breathe deeply, and rest well this weekend.
You are free.
Rest well,
Amanda
