The Saturday Blessing
A Blessing for the Brave Wanderer
May you put the heavy maps down today, and let your mind finally come to a full, unhurried stop.
If your chest has felt tight this week from the lingering ghosts of old programming— if you have felt that familiar, phantom panic whispering that you are “falling away” or stepping into the dark— may you give your nervous system permission to stand down.
May you remember that the God of the cosmos doesn’t run a celestial border patrol. He isn’t pacing the lobby of your past, refusing to leave the property. He is not checking your theological ID badge at the door.
Realize you can finally put your guard down—because Jesus isn’t looking for your flawless doctrinal compliance; He just wants to know you in the middle of your real, messy life. And there is absolutely nowhere you can wander where His presence cannot breathe.
If you find yourself out in the wild, uncharted spaces of your faith today, may you realize that the darkness isn’t dark to Him.
May you breathe deeply in your actual room today. May you enjoy the taste of your food, the warmth of the sun, and the beautiful freedom of the open air. You are completely safe, you are completely held, and you are not alone.
Grace in the dirt to you this weekend. Welcome to the crew.
