The Saturday Blessing
A Blessing for a Wise Heart
May you step fully into the driver’s seat of your own life today, and let your mind finally come to a full, unhurried stop.
If your chest has felt tight this week from the heavy work of untangling old rules— if you have felt the phantom anxiety of second-guessing your own voice and your own boundaries— may you give your body permission to completely relax.
May you look past the rigid, patriarchal blueprints and the corporate church checklists, and remember that your heart is not a dangerous enemy territory to be policed. It is a sacred garden.
You do not need an external manager’s permission slip to live your life. You do not need to outsource your voice, your choices, or your desires to satisfy a system built to keep you small.
Realize you can finally put your guard down—because Jesus isn’t looking for your flawless doctrinal compliance; He just wants to know you in the middle of your real, messy life. He trusts the spirit He put inside you, and you can too.
May you breathe deeply in your actual room today. May you look at the landscape of your life and trust the wisdom in your bones, the empathy in your gut, and the strength in your step. You are a full spiritual adult, you are entirely capable, and you are beautifully free.
Grace in the dirt to you this weekend. Welcome to the crew.
