The Saturday Blessing
A Blessing for Living in Your Body
May you lay down the exhausting lie that your body was created to be an asset for someone else’s ownership.
May you unlearn the shame that taught you your worth was fragile, easily damaged, or tied to an ancient property contract.
May you know in your bones that your body is a holy sanctuary—created in wisdom, held in dignity, and endowed with full agency and worth.
Where old systems used purity to control you, may Grace grant you the deep peace of an unburdened spirit and a restored home in your own skin.
May you find peace knowing that your body is yours: a holy home for your soul. It is the temple of the Holy Spirit—not in shamefulness, but in wholeness, peace, and freedom. Your body is a good body.
May you love yourself and your body, knowing you were created in the image of God and covered by the righteousness of Christ.
Drop your shoulders, breathe deeply, and rest well this weekend.
You are free.
Rest well,
Amanda
